last chance 2 blog

behold, the pink.* This attempt at running a blog doesn't feel as desperate because I've finally gone through the last stage of grief in regards to the internet so maybe I won't ditch it this time (weird how that works.) And hey, look, cool parts of the net are still clinging on for dear life: enjoy what u have while u still have it

many years ago, I along with several others contributed anonymously to a thread lamenting the state of the internet and it's ongoing decline, while simutaenously feeling despite our digital home being eroded, we had no where else to go. Specifically, I posted about a suspiscion I had in my teens, that eventually me and my online friends would naturally outgrow the internet, 'graduate' from it, never to return... Yet there I was, drifting aimless across imageboards well over a decade later. A response to my post was someone asking if I "was one of those Atari Guys"

since then i've often wondered about these atari guys and if they're doing alright, and that perhaps we're on a similar wavelength. i don't know jack shit about atari or it's guys, but a fantasy of them lives somewhere in my head now, like a doppelganger cohort

*i stopped feeling "pink" when an illusion painfully broke for me lmao. alas. this was a pink blog in the dev stage
